So I must start with an apology, as I haven’t checked in with my FOLLOW THE FLIP houses recently. I am sure that you are curious as to what is going on, since my last update. Let’s take a look, shall we.
Well, look at what we have here! The porch is straight, painted and perfect now. New pillars give a little more class to this abode, than the former flimsy old metal posts that were rusted, not to mention extremely dated. In fact, there are no spindles missing, the roof no longer sags, there are new windows, a new door and an updated light fixture to illuminate the new siding on this now-charming bungalow. Heck, we even have gutters now! You can’t complain about that.
And look at how nicely the stained glass came out! If you recall, we didn’t even know this pretty addition existed until we took the nasty old insulbrick siding off. Now the red and blue blocks proudly highlight the address number right above the smart new front entry. How is that for a beautiful image to welcome you to your new home?
Oh, did you catch that last comment? About this being your new home? Well, it could be, if you are interested. Yes, this fabulous little home that you have seen transformed from top to bottom, and from inside to out, is hitting the market this week. That’s right! If you are looking for a new place to call home, why not think about this freshly renovated century bungalow. It may have been built in 1901, but in 2011/12 it got the facelift that it was sorely in need of. A new kitchen was added. The bathroom was brought into the 21st century, and the back mud room is now a spectacular sunroom that will please any homeowner. Not to mention updated wiring, the addition of insulation and fresh paint throughout.
I know you are dying to get a peek in person, but the open house isn’t scheduled just yet. Believe me though, you will be the first to know when it is! I will keep you posted. See you then!!
